Wine, Learning, and Making the Most of It:

Louise, a passionate wine educator with a unique perspective on learning.

A Journey in Wine and Education:

As a recent WSET Diploma graduate, I am still very much a student at heart. My insatiable curiosity for the world fuels not just my wine education, but i also hold a Master’s degree in History, Nordic Literature and Italian Literature & Language from Aarhus University. This lifelong love of learning spills over into everything i do!

While the WSET Diploma signifies my expertise in all aspects of wine, from vine to glass, I also completed a Level 3 WSET Spirits course concurrently. Expanding my knowledge base into the world of distilled spirits just felt natural!

Teaching with Empathy and Efficiency:

While my formal education is extensive, my own experience with late-diagnosed ADHD has shaped my teaching approach. I’m passionate about finding new ways to help neurodivergent minds learn and thrive. I believe everyone deserves to unlock their potential, and I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

This passion for accessibility extends beyond ADHD. Having a child with special needs has taught me the importance of making the most of available time. My lessons are designed to be efficient and impactful, ensuring you get the most out of your learning experience.

A Life Infused with Flavor:

Wine isn’t just my profession, it’s a constant source of fascination. I’m a fast reader who devours information about different regions, grape varietals, and winemaking techniques. While my long-term memory might not be perfect (thanks, ADHD!), my methods for neurodivergent learning improves memory and exam teqnique massivly,  something that allowed me to pass the diploma well. Now these teqniques can help you! This constant exploration of flavor extends beyond the vine. I’m a keen cook, love experimenting with cocktails, and have a deep appreciation for fresh herbs and their culinary magic.
